Enjoy two different berry colors of our native Winterberry Holly while providing a mid-winter feast for birds. Our trio features the sparkling red fruits of Berry Heavy® and the large, golden yellow berries of Berry Heavy® Gold. Both appear on deciduous shrubs that lose their leaves in fall, the better to display the colorful berries. A third Winterberry bush, Mr. Poppins® (PP 25,834), does not produce fruit, but plant him nearby to ensure pollination. Winterberry Hollies are a terrific choice for that damp spot in the yard. The berry-laden stems make fabulous autumn and holiday decorations for indoors and out.
