The Torchie is a clever single-log fire torch made from fresh, aromatic Alligator Juniper (Juniperus deppeana). It offers an excellent source of light and heat for a campsite, backyard cookout, or to add ambience to a wedding or other occasion—the sanded, beveled top gives the fire torch a clean, finished look. A pre-drilled hole on the front and another on the top create a draft, pulling the flame up through the center of the log, and burning it from the inside out. Carry the Torchie anywhere using the sturdy, attached hemp rope handle; this single-log torch is safe to burn as a lighting or heating source wherever fires are allowed, including your indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit. Expect a burn time between two and four hours from each sustainably harvested Juniper fire torch. Bonus points: The Torchie is also an effective bug repellent.
