Keep your tools and blades sharp with this hard-working whetstone. The silicon-carbide stone is extra hard, and it’s fitted into a carefully crafted Beech wood handle designed for comfortable gripping. Excellent for heavy duty tools including axes, the edges of shovels, large shears, and more. Simply soak the whetstone for 30 minutes. This allows the stone to absorb water, which combines with particles released from the stone creating an abrasive material for sharpening blades. Overall length: 13″.

This tool was selected from the Sneeboer line of durable, heirloom quality tools on a visit to England’s Great Dixter gardens.
