Product Details
Dramatic shades of an October evening combine in a standout collection that mixes four different annuals with one perennial for fall. The dark, frilly, purple-black leaves of annual Kale ‘Redbor’ and the graceful burgundy foliage and garnet plumes of Ornamental Grass Pennisetum ‘Rubrum’ stand tall amid the midnight-purple leaves of mounding perennial Heuchera ‘Obsidian.’ The purple is repeated in the dark green and purple-black foliage of Plectranthus ‘Mona Lavender’, which adds lavender flowers for a long show. The small silvery leaves of cascading annual Dichondra argentea ‘Silver Falls’ add a shimmering gleam like moonlight. The Heuchera is perennial in zones 4 to 9S/W, and it will return year after year. 1 plant of each for a total of five plants.

Some plants require more space in container gardens than others. To accommodate the 5 plants in this collection, we recommend a container at least 16″ in diameter and 12″ deep.
This collection is shown in our Norwich Urn, which is sold separately. Click to order.
If you choose to overwinter your plants, they will need a little special treatment. Although we can’t guarantee your plants’ successful return next year, here are our best recommendations.
In climates where winter temperatures drop well below freezing, containers should be dismantled in late fall. The Heuchera is a perennial and can be planted in the ground. Simply discard the other annuals, which will not survive in areas below 20°F. In mild-winter climates (Zone 8 and warmer), these plants can be left outdoors in containers.
