A member of the showy Ladyslippers® series of Cape Primroses (Streptocarpus) noted for their abundant flowers and number of leaves per plant, ‘Grape Ice’ puts forth deep purple blossoms that are etched with intricate veining and highlighted by pure white centers and petal edges. In winter, enjoy the show indoors. In summer, take the display outside on a shady porch or deck. Shipped in a basket that measures 7¼”, including handles.

An African Violet relative, Cape Primrose (Streptocarpus) grows in the mountainous, wooded ravines of South Africa, shaded from the heat and intensity of the sun. Water when the soil feels slightly dry and fertilize twice a month for a long display of open-faced blooms and dark green, strap-shaped leaves.
