Rich autumn shades and textures bring a warm seasonal accent to your doorstep with our Brandied Peach Fall Collection. The brandy-colored, lightly frosted foliage of Heuchera ‘Peach Smoothie’ creates a coppery highlight amid the deep purple-red curly foliage of Ornamental Cabbage ‘Osaka Red’ and the slender, wine-red wisps of Ornamental Switch Grass: Panicum virgatum ‘Shenandoah’ with its fuzzy blush-red flower panicles. Adding a distinctive spiky silhouette and bronze-copper color are the dried blossoms of Protea (back right), which are included to fill out a container or add contrasting form to this collection and others.

Some plants require more space in container gardens than others. To accommodate the 3 plants in this collection, we recommend a container at least 16″ in diameter and 12″ deep.

If you choose to overwinter your plants, they will need a little special treatment. Although we can’t guarantee your plants’ successful return next year, here are our best recommendations.

In climates where winter temperatures drop well below freezing, containers should be dismantled in late fall. The Panicum and Heuchera are perennials and they can be planted in the ground. Simply discard the Cabbage, which is an annual and will not survive in areas below 20°F. In mild-winter climates (Zone 8 and warmer), these plants can be left outdoors in containers.
